London, UK: Following the incredible response to its debut international edition, We The Women London is returning for its second year with an exciting line-up of icons, changemakers, storytellers and thought leaders. Curated and moderated by journalist and media entrepreneur Barkha Dutt, the platform will once again bring together inspiring voices from across fields for a day of meaningful conversations, that shines the light on the convergence of Gravitas, Grassroots, Glamour.

From Sharmila Tagore to Saif Ali Khan, Gita Gopinath to Shefali Shah: We The Women returns with a power-packed second edition in London

This year’s exceptional line-up brings together some of the most influential and inspiring voices from across entertainment, economics, literature and culture. Audiences can look forward to hearing from the legendary Sharmila Tagore, whose enduring contribution to Indian cinema continues to inspire generations; renowned economist Gita Gopinath, one of the leading voices shaping global economic discourse; actor Saif Ali Khan, celebrated for his versatility and distinctive body of work; acclaimed actor Shefali Shah, known for her powerful and nuanced performances; and actor Aditi Rao Hydari, admired for her elegance and artistic range. 

Audiences can also look forward to engaging discussions with acclaimed author Sathnam Sanghera and celebrated broadcaster Anita Rani as they explore themes of history, identity and perspective. Adding fresh energy to the programme are young talents Souparnika Nair and MissMOD, whose journeys reflect ambition, creativity and fearlessness, encouraging audiences to find their own rhythm and forge their own path.

A much-loved feature of the festival, the Changemakers of the Year honours, will once again recognise extraordinary individuals whose work has challenged conventions, broken barriers and created meaningful impact across communities and industries. 

“It’s a festival for women, and I am obviously there for all things women!” said superstar Kareena Kapoor at the inaugural event in London, while Smriti Irani called it a “Festival that celebrates grit, and life itself”!
