IMS Law College Strengthens Digital Legal Research Skills Through SCC Online Training

Noida,Oct 05: Reinforcing its commitment to technology-enabled, experiential and industry-oriented legal education, IMS Law College, Noida organised a specialised SCC Online Training Session for students and faculty members. The session was conducted by Mr.Sanjay Kapoor, Vice President, SCC Online, who provided participants with practical insights into advanced digital legal research tools, search techniques and strategies for accessing relevant legal information.

The training programme aimed to strengthen the legal research capabilities of students and faculty while familiarising them with the growing role of technology in contemporary legal practice. Through live demonstrations and hands-on learning, participants gained practical knowledge of conducting legal research in a more systematic, precise and time-efficient manner.

During the session, Mr.Sanjay Kapoor demonstrated various tools and features of SCC Online, explaining how to effectively search and analyse case laws, journals, statutes and legal commentaries. He also shared techniques for identifying relevant legal authorities and making effective use of digital legal resources for academic research as well as professional legal practice.

The expert further highlighted the relevance of digital legal databases in assignment preparation, academic writing, classroom learning, research papers, moot court preparation and professional legal work. Participants were introduced to advanced search strategies aimed at improving the accuracy and efficiency of legal research.
