ROHINI, DELHI, Nov 01: Guided by the theme “Aviral”—the continuous, unstoppable spirit—Titiksha Public School celebrated its Annual Sports Meet 2026–27 throughout October, culminating in a grand felicitation ceremony on October 31. Students from Bal Vatika I to Grade XII participated in activities promoting athletic talent, perseverance, teamwork and holistic development, reflecting the school’s enduring Virasat of making sports an integral part of education.

Recognised for its strong sporting culture, Titiksha Public School continues to champion the belief that sports play a vital role in building character, confidence, discipline and resilience. The theme, Aviral, embodied the philosophy that sporting excellence extends beyond victories and medals to the determination to overcome challenges, learn from experiences and keep moving forward.

The celebrations culminated in a grand felicitation ceremony on 31 October, graced by Rajat Sood, an alumnus of Titiksha Public School and winner of India’s Laughter Champion, as the Chief Guest. The occasion was attended by Ms Ritambhra Chauhan, Chairperson; Dr Arun Kumar Bhatia, Manager; Ms Radhika Pahwa, Head of School; Ms Rashmi Chhabra, Vice Principal; Ms Kavita Dudeja, Head of Administration; Ms Indu Chawla, Head of the Sports Department; and PTA members. Members of the school administration, teachers, students and parents also joined the celebration, honouring the enthusiasm, commitment and achievements of the young participants.

The programme commenced with the School Band performance and March Past, reflecting discipline and team spirit, followed by the Torch Ceremony, symbolising sportsmanship and fair play. The ceremonial Lamp Lighting by the Chief Guest and school leadership marked the formal inauguration of the celebration, while a soulful Ganesh Vandana by students added a graceful spiritual touch.

Throughout October, students participated in age-appropriate sporting activities designed to develop fitness, agility, coordination, balance and confidence. Events for younger students included the Commando Race, Bridge Express Relay, Ball Collection Race, Teddy Bear Race, Hoopla Highway Race and Power of Unity Race. Middle-grade students participated in the Obstacle Race, Cone Hurdle Race and Pyramid Balance Race, demonstrating determination, coordination and teamwork.

A highlight of the ceremony was Rajat Sood’s address and stand-up comedy performance, which filled the atmosphere with laughter and warmth. His presence made the occasion particularly special, celebrating an alumnus who has made his mark beyond the school gates.

The meet emphasised inclusive participation and personal growth, recognising that sport is about more than medals. All participating students received participation medals, while the top three finishers in competitive events were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, respectively.

Through Aviral, Titiksha Public School reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing confident, capable and resilient individuals by making sports an integral part of education. The month-long celebration reflected the school’s Virasat of encouraging every child to embrace challenges, value every effort and keep moving forward.
