Wayanad, September 23, 2026: KFON connections in Wayanad have crossed the 10,000 mark, with a total of 10,052 connections provided so far across households, government institutions and other categories.
The connections include 7,864 household connections, 563 connections for government institutions and 687 connections provided to families from economically weaker sections.
KFON has also made notable progress in extending connectivity to areas such as Perya-34 in Wayanad, where even mobile network availability is limited. Providing reliable broadband services in areas with limited network access is creating greater opportunities in education, employment, online services and digital communication. KFON aims to strengthen digital inclusion by expanding its services to geographically challenging areas where establishing connectivity remains challenging.
Efforts are continuing to expand internet access among economically weaker families and extend KFON connectivity to more households and institutions across the district, thereby widening access to digital services.
New household connections can be registered through the My KFON mobile app or the KFON website.
