New Delhi, 28th October 2026: For the fifth consecutive year, India has emerged as the most represented country on the global Meaningful Business 100 (MB100) list, with 23 leaders recognised in the 2026 cohort. The MB100, an annual global awards programme by Meaningful Business (MB), champions leaders combining profit and purpose to deliver scalable, real-world solutions to complex challenges.
Now in its 8th year, the MB100 programme connects winners to a global peer network, alongside capacity-building resources and pro bono support, delivered in collaboration with industry-leading organisations, including EY, Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, Forster Communications, Northeastern University and The Portman Estate.
Evaluated by a panel of expert judges representing organisations like Gates Foundation, Google, IBM, Saïd Business School, Seedstars Capital and World Economic Forum, the winners were selected from over 900 nominations. These outstanding social entrepreneurs, sustainability leaders, Corporate CEOs and impact investors were scored across five key areas: equity, impact, innovation, leadership and scalability.
Commenting on the 2026 cohort, Tom Lytton-Dickie, Founder & CEO, Meaningful Business, said, “Firstly, a big congratulations to all the Indian winners, whose inspiring work demonstrates how scalable business models and technologies can deliver tangible, positive impact. This year’s cohort is a powerful reminder of the progress being made across India and of the important role their work plays in building a fairer, more sustainable future. We’re delighted to welcome them into the global MB100 community and look forward to supporting their work in the years ahead.”
Shiv Kumar, Co-Founder of The Catalysts and Founder-Director of Catalyst Management Services (CMS) and member of the MB100 judging panel, added, “The process of judging this year's nominees reinforced my belief that something not working for the good of society cannot be sustainable for the long term. What I value about the MB100 is how it builds that test into its criteria, scoring equity and impact alongside innovation, leadership and scalability. It gives me great joy to see that half of this year’s winning cohort are working on health, climate, circularity and food. That is where the hardest problems sit today. I wish every winner the very best in the inspiring and important work they are doing across the globe."
