Pune, 2nd November, 2026 - Digital lending platform Fibe today announced the launch of its UPI offering. The launch follows NPCI approval for Fibe to operate as a Third-Party Application Provider (“TPAP”). Available to consumers across India, including those beyond Fibe’s existing customer base, UPI adds an everyday payments layer to the company’s financial services proposition, helping the platform serve consumers across both routine transactions and broader financial needs.

The launch builds on Fibe’s expansion across financial products, including the Fibe Axis Bank Credit Card -India’s first numberless credit card, third-party FDs, Loan Against Mutual Funds, healthcare and education financing, rooftop solar financing, amongst others. With UPI payments growing at approximately 63.8% CAGR between Fiscal 20-25, Fibe UPI extends this proposition further by allowing users to transact through bank accounts, RuPay Credit Cards and eligible credit lines, giving them greater choice in how they pay. This allows consumers to manage routine digital payments through a single UPI experience with greater ease and choice.

Commenting on the launch, Akshay Mehrotra, Managing Director & Group CEO, Fibe, stated, “Digital payments have become central to how consumers manage their everyday finances. As this behaviour deepens, the opportunity is not just to make payments faster, but to give users greater choice, control and value in every transaction.”
