Mumbai, November 03, 2026: Central Depository Services (India) Limited (“CDSL”), Asia’s first listed depository servicing 19.6+ crore demat accounts, has received the Great Place To Work® Certification for the period October 2026 to October 2027. The recognition is based on an independent assessment of workplace experience and culture, reflecting CDSL’s continued efforts to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high trust work environment.

The Great Place To Work® Certification is a globally recognized benchmark of workplace excellence, based on employee feedback through its Trust Index Survey. The assessment evaluates key dimensions of workplace experience, including credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

Speaking on the recognition, Shri Nehal Vora, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, CDSL, said, “At CDSL, we have always believed that institutions are ultimately built by people. As our responsibility to India’s securities market has grown, so has our responsibility to create an environment where our people can learn, contribute and grow together.

The recognition is a testament to the belief that our colleagues have in the leadership, and the pride they have in being part of the CDSL team. This only reinforces our continued focus on building a workplace anchored in trust, belonging and shared purpose.

We receive this recognition with gratitude, but also with the understanding that culture is never a finished project. It is something we must continue to strengthen every day. Our endeavour remains to build CDSL as an institution where people feel trusted, valued and connected to the larger purpose of empowering every Indian to become an Atmanirbhar Investor.”

CDSL’s approach to human capital development encompasses continuous learning, leadership engagement, and holistic well-being. During FY 2025-26, the organization provided an average of 21 hours of training per employee. Platforms such as Townhalls, Guru Samvaad (a knowledge sharing platform that enables employees to learn directly from experienced leaders and subject matter experts), Open House sessions and the Digital Suggestion Box provide avenues for dialogue, participation and exchange of ideas across the organization.

CDSL has also continued to conduct programs addressing the physical, psychological, financial, and social well-being of its employees. Its focus on inclusion was recognized earlier this year with the ‘Best Institution for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ award at the Asia Asset Management Best of the Best Awards 2026.

The Great Place To Work® Certification reinforces CDSL’s focus on investing in its people and further strengthening its organizational culture.
